Stewardship at Holy Comforter
As members of the Church of the Holy Comforter, we believe that the tithe
is the Biblical standard of giving and that proportional giving is the method to achieve
this. We believe that we can serve our parish not only through our monetary gifts,
but also through those gifts of time and talent that we offer to God’s glory and for
the benefit of the larger community. “Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God,
serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.” (1 Peter 4:10)
