Inquirer's Classes
How do you learn to be an Episcopalian? Is there some initiation?
After all, not all of us are cradle Episcopalians....
From time to time, the Rector teaches special classes for newcomers called "Inquirer's Classes". You are not required to be a newcomer to attend, as there is always room for continued growth and learning. Successful completion of Inquirer's class is required for Confirmation.
To become an Episcopalian, you must undergo Baptism and Confirmation. Confirmation (or reception for those who are already confirmed in another denomination)involves the laying-on-of hands by the Bishop at a special ceremony. In our Diocese, the Bishop comes for Confirmation about once per year.
On Sunday mornings, Mac Hall is teaching a Sunday School class for youths who are preparing for confirmation. Contact the Rector if you are interested.
